Helen (my wife), suggested that I try my hand at drawing fantasy animals for kids books. So I present for you the Blue Bellied Snotgolly. Yeah, it's stupid but I was just having fun and I drew it at 3:00 - 5:00 this morning with lots of drugs in me. You have to watch them because they'll sneak up behind you and snuffle you ears.
I tried something different this time, besides making a blue thing that doesn't exist, I drew the base image with Xara Designer then imported it into AR, not as a tracing image but as part of the drawing.
I use Xara Designer, Gimp, and occasionally the copy of Photoshop that I got for free two months ago. I prefer Xara 7 and Gimp 2.8 though. I figured it's my software and my concept so I can do whatever I want.

The last time I kept an open mind,
my brain fell out and the dog grabbed it.
Now it's full of dirt, toothmarks, and dog slobber.
No more open minds or dogs for me.www.gms9810.com/

I have a huge pup that sneaks up behind me and snuffles my ears!

Your blue critter is great! I also like the rock cliffs behind. Good job!

Great - like a children's book. Just in time for that wee one you were holding. . . and maybe some others as well.
