    Escape (Finished APR 01 13)

This is a study again on everything. Since I started coming back. I was hoping each day I can do a painting, sketch or quickie or just play with tools. So today I woke up and plan to spend sometimes to work and observe portrait again, drawing and blending..layer, workflow and everything. Well, not very successful yet. But I learned a lot I think and some I still don't quite get it how to do it. This work study about 6 hours excluding breaks (yeh, I can't sit too long each duration) Sorry, if she looks awful as she is escaping in the dark and hidinig behind two stones. And, I tend don't select a good looking girl and awarkard gesture. I hope it's ok I post this practise piece of work. Thanks for looking.

Terrific practice effort, Pai. Thanks for letting us peek in on your development process.

I can't help but notice that the rock on the left of the painting looks like the head of a giant snake about to devour your escapee. I hope she gets away.

Hey, I think changing the name to "Escape from Great Giant Mole Snake" solves the problem completely. Or better still, call it "Giant Mole Snake Having Lunch". No new painting required. Works for me.

    Great fun Pai.
