    Calligraphic cat

This was done on the iPad using resident oils as inks and a pressure sensitive stylus, as a way of exploring the Overlay mode, among other things

Love the strategic smudge!!! Really very articulate. Great color. Nice one, CP.

Really interesting! You've managed to squeeze out another brilliant effect out of AR.

I like the scarcity of strokes to portray the cat

Another show of Your unique class, dear mate. I was just curiously wondering if the figure has any correspondance with a chinese ideogram meaning "cat". I think I'll see if I succeed checking this funny idea of mine ... OK, this is what I got so far and I wouldn't say it follows Your drawing, except, maybe the left part which may be see as a cat, who may also be stretching against a piece of furniture on the right.
Anyway it would be interesting on Your part to evocate painterly from an ideogram the figure of its meaning (for concrete words of course), in a way doing the opposite path which led to establish ideograms to express an object.
