    According to the book Mr Carroll never got published: That when the red queen in the early days of her reign said "Off with her head". . . words uttered famously yet in haste. . . this setting of which depicts the moment of realization in which she discovered that without her head she will never make a royal flush. <sigh> live and learn, I always say. . .

    A lovely picture Ms Coops. And it has no connection with my tom foolery whatsoever. It's a fashionable pic from the deco era. And with her being set upon the chessboard, as she is, why she's waiting her turn to get into it. She wants to dance clearly.
