    Autumn In Oil

This is one I did last year, opened it up again and did a few tweaks, tried to get a little more texture into it, very minor stuff.

Wow ! Fraser, I love it so much. So painterly and artistic. Love the distance feel to the far away golden sun. But I think I have to wait Spring..then Summer, then I will see this Autumn scenery again. Great painting.

p.s. I still missed your sheep, how are they?

What a terrific little painting! I like the touch of mauve up the top left.

Thanks guys, I should say that it's a copy of this by Frederick Edwin Church, I'd sort of forgotten about it, with all that happened last year, I really like his work and will probably try to copy a few more.

You painted ahead from an yeartime point of view, considering spring has still to get fully "established", here in Rome too, but You got a marvellous view indeed!

    Thumbs up

I love this painting, the colours, the sense of distance , the peace and the tranquility of it all
