love it Tony. reminds me of a heron who entertained my daughter and I outside a restaurant window on puget sound. He was a dark color though. He stood on a pier post like this one and did a number of dance positions for us. It was very comical.

Terrific image. It's a toss up to know which is more the feature, that well painted bird or the fantastic environment. It makes me consider the lyrical quality of such an image. Feels like there's an extraordinary experiential aspect to this - sort of a Don Juan (Castaneda's) brujo overtone. I mean he was all about the desert, and you are all about the island. So it would be perfectly natural for one to take on the aspect of one of the local residents owing to the perfect fit into the environment, with all their special experiences, their own special song. What better aspect for a musician to see the same stuff in a very different way than to blend in, yet stand out.
