Newbie question: constraining lines to straight-?

    Hi.
I'm wondering if there is any way to constrain the pen tool or any of the brushes, etc., to draw a straight line from one point to another - similar to holding down shift key in P'Shop.. ?

Thanks in advance for any info!

Hi Gary, I asked the same question last year and am delighted to tell you it's CTRL> drag to your ending point. Works a treat.

    It does't work.

I want to constrain the pencil into a straight line.
    Pressing CTRL freezes the cursor.

Ah, the devil I fear is in the details. Not all computers work the same!
Are you using a Mac? If you are using a Mac then hold down cmd (the Command key) instead of CTRL and it will work as copespeak described.
