    Nice and still and set up. Dramatic lighting. Interesting how you are sort of blending styles that are very different in sensibilities. Fool the eye palette and lighting with juicy painterly strokes. Will be interesting to watch this technique develop, which direction will come to dominate. All very personal and that's the exciting part.

    I quite like the flowers especially. High marks on the freehand approach too.

    Heh heh, Mr D Akey you may, or may not, be surprised to know I have no idea what I'm doing here, no plan, it just sort of evolved. The beans are stray grapes from the bunch in the shadows, good dark shadows eh?.

    This is well done...I really like the brush strokes in this one
    Try to see as many angles of vision as possible...no single one of us has a "handle" on the whole picture.

    Very nice, it kind of has an old look to it, makes me think back to grandma's parlour as a child.

    fraser, I love the paint strokes on this, and the colors are fantastic, I just cant wait to see more of this, love, love it
