very dramatic scene. for some reason I think of William Blake or John Milton or classical music that has that great drama going on.

Katie , this is REALLY amazing on so many levels, a dreamscape and fantasty all woven into a beautiful painting! I too immediately thought of Milton's paradise lost...

All of the above. . . The canvas fills, picking up a breeze from on high.

Ms Coops, you have been sitting on a golden and glorious moment. It's as if you've crafted into paint a crescendo (in a dance), the very moment of master inspiration becoming tangible. . . the moment in which the artist knows it's theirs, when the vision comes into form and takes shape.

The depicted dancer has been dancing to tempt the gods. Sort of a pro-active approach to catching a Muse. . .

A beautiful mix of color as well as light and shadow...I am amazed at your talent and imagination Katie...well done !!
Try to see as many angles of vision as possible...no single one of us has a "handle" on the whole picture.
