    WC brush and then thought I would try the the tint blend

    jean, I'm very partial to a dark background, and here it is used to great effect, I think because you've softened the edges and taken out the harsh lights and added reflections, it all comes together very nicely

    Lovely 'olde worlde' colours, chiaroscuro light, and the soft fruit are really well painted.

    This is an excellent painting Jean and those apples look delicious !!
    Try to see as many angles of vision as possible...no single one of us has a "handle" on the whole picture.

    Very nice. It remembers me the atmosphere of dutch masters. What a delicate and fine shaping of fruits with light and colors !
