    One of my fav painters too Pat, you did a great job of this one and I love the gentle colours

    Pat, overall this is very nice!
    The eye is distracting however. If you painted this from a ref then an easy fix is to paint the eyes as you see them rather than how you know them, by eye parts like lids, lashes, Iris, pupil and the like. If this is from memory then it's much harder to get them right. Then you would have to rely on knowledge of parts.
    Anyway she is lovely and I like the colors, and the composition is very nice.

    Hi Pat, good to meet again. So you are admiring Pino with your brushes again...i too do love his work and this picture is full of character of a young pretty lady.... i do love to paint them also... maybe in the near future...hahahaha...I like this pic Pat, just continue painting them i enjoy them very much...

    Thankyou all so much for your kind comments and wonderful advice, so glad I am not the only one that loves Pino, agree with the eyes need work

    Pat,, nice you have you back in action.. a nice start if a difficult subject matter... as for the eyes I was impressed by Saphire's cougar in the WIP section where she zooms in on the eyes to get the areas easily discernible and thus easier to get the shapes and colors right for highlights etc.. and when zoomed back down looks downright photographic.. you might try that technical trick even with a ref painting to see how Pino gets the eyes painted.
