    Question Using for commercial use

    Hi,
I was just going over the FAQs and came across this: "Any work you produce with ArtRage is yours to do whatever you like with, including selling your work."
Im not planning on selling the pictures I create however, I want to use some mixtures of colors in a game Im creating which I want to sell.
Do I have to get a license to use it in the game?

    Thanks

AFAIK, whatever you make in ArtRage is yours to use in whatever way you please.

Unless perhaps, you are using proprietary colour samples like Copic or Pantone, but even then I think it's OK. Maybe someone else here will have more knowledge than me.

What we're saying in the FAQ is that we don't claim any ownership of work you produce using ArtRage, so you can do what you want with it subject to any licenses required for third party elements you may have used. For example, if you use a commercial photo to do a tracing and want to sell the results you may need the permission of the owner of the photo as a general requirement of its license, but that's not something we are enforcing or claiming responsibility for.

Disclaimers always make simple things seem so complex
