    Ready For Battle

    Hi everyone, have been away for a month, mother-in-law 94 yrs old was not in good shape, so had to leave for Canada very quickly to look after her, she is doing better now
    and have someone looking after her for the time being.....was good to get back to painting, stress release lol, will catch up soon on comments and to see all the great paintings
    I have missed so much

    pat...sorry to hear about your mother-in-law but sounds like things have evened out some there.. but this painting is fabulous, rich color, brush work and powerful subject...you haven't missed a beat..

    Well Pat you certainly have not lost your touch, I love it , the vibrant colours and such a strong subject.

    Try to see as many angles of vision as possible...no single one of us has a "handle" on the whole picture.

    Good to hear You were able to reject the offensive of age against Your mother-in-law. Best wishes to her and You. I'm glad You came back with a sort of warrior spirit to resume Your artistic duties.
    The painting expresses it clear as well as Your unaffected mastery.

    Very fine proportions and intensity. Nice color too. <-------- rolled heads by royal command.
