This speedy but sorta dazzling style feels like a production comp from a high budget movie in the 50s, a Rogers and Hammerstein/Hart sort of set design concept. Love the marks. Really effective image. I am very much drawn in by your color invention.

    Fun and fluid

I like the quick immediacy. The color scheme is very pleasing.

Thanks D Akey, Alexa, Marilyn Anne and Jean!
I thought of the 50's too. Kind of a stylized approach. I see your point about the set scene. The colors seemed odd at 1st but they were close to a complementary set with orange. After I did it I liked it. The marks are kind of calligraphic and just what I feel like making on the spot more or less. I find this give a painting a non-fiddly sort of construction and brings it all together. And, it's fun! Sometimes it doesn't work but with artrage it's easy to undo.
