    Adorable panda! The old man is not quite what I would call cute, but it's a nice painting.

    Sorry to hear about your hands paining you. Art is nice because you can sometimes forget about the worries and aches and just focus on your work.

    Nice job!

    I can't let this get by without a thought. The panda's background is more detailed and in focus that the panda. That leads to some interesting choices in that you wonder whether to blur the background to match, or sharpen the panda. But usually the background should be less finished than your main subject.

    But it's a small thing. The panda looks painterly and I love it that way. The graphic black and white is really strong. Love the pose and attitude. You do animals so well.

    These 2 paintings are very well done...glad you are better and painting again :-)
    Try to see as many angles of vision as possible...no single one of us has a "handle" on the whole picture.
