    I was going for a more painterly effect with this one...not sure if I was successful

    Successfully artistic I'd say. Looking to this, I would modestly state that You should always follow a little more Your artistic flow and digress from excessive self-control and planning. The outcome gets more personal, original and lively.

    Steve, this is one of your best, you have let go of a little of that control, more loose and painterly, like this a lot and would love to see more free style
