    Across the Bay

Lighting has always facinated me,how a scene can change from early morning to dusk, sometimes in just a few hours,I am trying to show here a beach scene looking out across the bay after heavy rain with the sky still moody but the sun just breaking through the dark clouds, two versions, each a little different, any comments welcome.....Jack.

Both very good Jack, as a personal choice I like #2 as the mist seems to be hanging about more after the storm.
Love the depth you have created in you paintings.

I like both, though maybe the first because it's crisper. Beautiful sky, sea and sand.... and the rock's great too. :0)

    Very well done

Choose the first for the crispness as was mentioned. Both look like they belong in a museum collection.
