Kenmo - Canadians are what Americans aspire to be!
Bobbi-One of my fave songs by Joni is "Black Crow". I still play her classics, and continue to be inspired and surprised by her use of words.
    GRS - Thank you!
limey- Lately, I have used this size as a standard. It translate to an 18x14"
Pat - On a second layer, I squiggled out greys and blues tapering away from the wings. Then used the flat, soft, blur, and wet settings of the knife until it looked sort of like a cross between smoke and water. At the point, I reduced the layer opacity to 50%. Then merged all over a bkg layer.
    Coops- Thanks so very much!
