    Thinner brushes?

    Hello,

What I really need is a thinner brush. I have looked at several of the posts in Art Supplies but have not found any suitable. A 1% watercolour/oil brush is really not thin enough for some of the detail I want to do.

If anybody knows where I can get more brushes from I would be grateful and I would also appreciate detailed instructions as to how to install them into my Artrage package, please

    Thank you

    Ali

    Hi,
1% is as small as they go. If you want more detail, I would suggest using a larger canvas to accomodate that.

Oh bother. I am such a novice at this. I am trying to paint some fine detail on a yacht and the stroke is just far too thick to get the fine details on

    Thanks for your reply though

How big is your canvas? You can resize the current picture to be bigger in Artrage, then your 1% brush will feel smaller and allow for more detail comparatively.

I had that problem so I started using a 4000 x 3000 canvas. That works fine for me.

The last time I kept an open mind,
my brain fell out and the dog grabbed it.
Now it's full of dirt, toothmarks, and dog slobber.
No more open minds or dogs for me.www.gms9810.com/
