    Ingres paper structure

Hi, I would like to make a set of chalk drawings on Ingres paper in ArtRage.
Does anyone know if there is a paper structure downloadable that simulates this?
    Thanks in advance,

    Rob

    Ingres paper

Hi, Aster. That looks very promising.
Could I find this structure somewhere or could you post it as a downloadable attachment?
I would certainly like to try it.

    Thanks,

    Rob

    Ingres paper

Hi Aster. My eyes are rather bad, so I did not see the link you were so kind to make.
I downloaded your Ingres paper structure and will try it immediately.
Thanks very much for your help. I will let you know how the result is

EDIT: I made some tests and am very happy with your Ingres structure.
It works great with chalk ( settint 40 pressure 40) on a 300 dpi sheet of 17 x 17 cm.
I set the grain size to 30% in this case.
As soon as I have some real results I will post it.
Thanks again for this wonderful paper.

    Rob

I am guessing the link to your paper no longer works?

    Hi Cripster,

There's a couple ways to do it, but only one allows you to keep the texture loaded in ArtRage, for easy access in the future. So that's the way I'll explain here.
    1 - 2: Go to View > Canvas Settings.
    3:
Click on the grain box on the upper left of the Canvas Panel.
4: Select a group to put the grain in (you may need to create one, if you haven't before).
5: Click on the Import Grain button, and browse your way to the image file, and open it.
6: Once imported, select the grain for use.

After that, the grain will be installed in your Grains folder, and ready for use with ArtRage, without having to import it again. You may then use the Canvas panel to adjust the size, color, roughness, and other attributes of the grain, for your Canvas texture. Once you've found a settings scheme you like, I'd suggest saving it as a Canvas Preset.
