    Hello From Adelaide

    Hi all,

I just purchased a WACOM Intous 5 tablet and ArtRage Studio Pro and am going to start learning to draw/paint. I've always wanted to do that, but never got around to it. At 48 years of age it's time to start doing things like this so here I go.

Any resources you have to point me in the right direction would be appreciated.

Usually when I am on a forum I am the guy answering questions, but here I am the newbie

Anyway just wanted to say hi more than anything.

Hi Tim, welcome to the forums! I'd recommend taking a look at the 'Tips and Tricks' forum, you'll see an ArtRage 3 thread near the top with a list of specific tutorials. Also for general information we have a tutorials page here:

If you have any technical problems, feel free to post in the 'Technical Support' section or you can contact us directly via the support page:

    I hope this helps!

    Thumbs up HI Tim

Welcome to the wonderful world of art. We call ourselves Ragers because we all know it is art. The forums are a great place to hang out and get to know the artists too. We all share our love for ArtRage and help each other along our chosen path as artists. The forum has artists on all levels and they do critiques for those that ask for one. Learning is fun here and the people are warm and friendly unlike many forums today. Sounds like you are on your way now with that Wacom drawing tablet and ArtRage....... and now here with us.

Also, we have our very own ArtRageUS Digital Magazine. It was published monthly for two years and and now is only being published every three months. Have a look at (or download) all the back issues, in pdf or flip page pdf and also the Tutorials and Art Supplies books which are dated so you can go to the forum Dave referred to for the newly added ones. It offers all Ragers (as they choose) to get published in it on any level so don't be bashful and join in. Please see the website for details.

    Hope this helps

Hi Tim, a warm welcome to both Artrage and our very friendly forum.
As I found when I first became a member everyone is so cordial and so willing to help in any way they can.
You will not find a nicer bunch of folks anywhere, so dive in and have fun.
