This thread explains how to find your ArtRage Serial Number or Registration Key from your purchase details, or who to talk to if you did not purchase directly from us.


Before You Start:

You need to know which version of ArtRage you are using and where it was purchased. Please remember that we do not have details for customers who did not purchase the product directly from our online store. Once you are sure of the version and where it was purchased, check the list below for information.


ArtRage Studio & Studio Pro - If you have it installed and running:

If you have a copy of ArtRage Studio or Studio Pro and you have it installed and running on your computer you can find your Serial Number by going in to the ArtRage Help menu and selecting 'Change Serial Number'. This will list your details. If you do not see this option in the Help menu your version of ArtRage does not require a Serial Number.


Purchased From Ambient Design:

If you purchased ArtRage from our online store you will have been sent an email with your original download link and Registration Key (ArtRage 2) or Serial Number (ArtRage Studio or Studio Pro). If you cannot find the email, we will have a record of your purchase and can help. Please contact us via the Support Page and be sure to let us know:

  1. The email address you used at the time of purchase.
  2. The street address you used at the time of purchase.
  3. Which version of ArtRage you need details for.


We can only locate your record and provide details if you can confirm your original purchase details. If your email address has changed, we need to know the original one or we will be unable to locate the record.


Received with a Graphics Tablet:

If you received ArtRage with a Wacom or other brand graphics tablet there are two ways you may have been given your details:

  1. If you received the product on CD the Registration Key or Serial Number should be printed on the CD sleeve.
  2. If you received the product as a digital download from the tablet manufacturer, you should have been sent your Registration Key or Serial Number by email.


We do not have details regarding which keys were provided to which customers so if you cannot locate the information you should contact customer support for the company who manufactured the tablet.


Received ArtRage bundled with a computer:

If your copy of ArtRage came already installed on a computer, for example included with an ASUS EP121, you should contact us via the Support Page for help. Please let us know:

  1. What computer it came bundled with.
  2. The serial number from your computer.
  3. Which version of ArtRage you are looking for help with.



Purchased in a box:

If you purchased a boxed copy of ArtRage from a store, we will not have any details regarding your Registration Key or Serial Number. If you still have the box there should be support details available on it, please contact the company who manufactured it. If you do not have the box, please contact us via the Support Page for help and let us know:

  1. Which version of ArtRage you purchased.
  2. Where it was purchased.


We should then be able to let you know who to contact for support finding your details.
