    Dan Thread

    Hello Art Rage community,

    I started to use this excellent software and got really excited with it.
    This is my latest attempt to do an self portrait.

    Both paintings are amazing, the self portrait is just wonderful, the seascape done in your lunch break wow! what can I say it's stunning.

    Yeah, these are very good!

    You've got a nice sense of lighting. I would imagine that's how you're hammering out that seascape during your lunch break-- it's more about value and less about details and texture. It's a nice composition. Did you take it from your mind, or did you have a reference?
