I was quite intrigued to read about limited gamut used in traditional painting (in James Gurney's book "Colour and Light") - selecting three primaries which then create a triangle over the colour wheel. That triangle contains all colours used in a limited gamut painting, secondary colours lying at the center of its edges.

I imagine it shouldn't be difficult to make a generator, where the user picks three primary colours and a colour picker containing only the limited gamut is created automatically.

This could be quite useful to keep the colour space of an image tight, without necessary colour processing and grading in other software after the artwork is finished.

Possible? Probable?
