    Southern Lace & Spanish Moss

This is one of those pieces that looks really simple, but drove me nuts. Even tho I traced the lace pattern, it was still more effort than it was probably worth. 2 layers. Oils. Orig size appx. 3200x2400 at 200 ppi.

Skylar.. I could have guessed that lace would have been a challenge..the overall work is nice and reminds of a older, gentler time..

I love the 'mood' you created here. The blurred vibrant colors in the background versus the earthtones in the foreground. Beautiful work my friend.

Nicely done, it is the detail that adds the finishing touch to a painting and I know where you are coming from, many the time one says why did I ever start this.

This painting is well done...lots of detail here...great effort !!
Try to see as many angles of vision as possible...no single one of us has a "handle" on the whole picture.
