    There is something about this era that appeals to me so much. I love everything about this painting Skylar, and the jacket is superb.

    Well done Skylar, I love the strength of the person in the foreground against the blurred weaker background, it sure brings ones eyes to focus on the subject.

    Thank you all for the wonderful comments!!! It seems this is one of my strengths - subject matter, that is. Whenever I paint an image where I have some nostalgic connection, it seems also to have a visceral effect with the viewer.

    Excellent work Skylar I love how the background is painted in soft focus. It gives it depth.
