    A New Series

Sometimes I am attracted to flowers in containers. Been working on some and here are a few.

Marilyn...three beautiful works... I love the brushwork and use of color.. I really like the container as it give a counterpoint to the organic flower shapes in the composition...

I feel as if I am looking through the eyes of a woman in a back yard studio painting the things she has collected in that space as models. While this has the feeling of coming from photos, it's still holding that energy.

Their lack of contrast makes me thing they would come into a home and take up their places on the walls in a harmonious way with the rest of the room, rather than screaming for attention. They're colorful, yet well behaved.

Well painted floreals! Their discreet chroma colors in a limited mid tone range make a harmonic composition of brushstrokes singing chorally a peaceful song. Very feminine paintings and style and an almost therapeutical effect against stress, anxiety, worries etc.

Beautiful...lots of color. I really like these paintings !!
Try to see as many angles of vision as possible...no single one of us has a "handle" on the whole picture.
