Well Pat you keep getting better and better and you turn so much work out so quickly, I guess that is where talent comes in.
Another lovely figure, and the whole scene is great.

Try to see as many angles of vision as possible...no single one of us has a "handle" on the whole picture.

Not that I have any problem finding the center of interest in this picture, Pat. . . just that when you cast a shadow (or light) across the body, you may consider not ending it so abruptly as with it stopping before the arm. It may be that way in the original, but as you have painted it, I would want to see some of it falling on her right arm, just because it's light which flows across everything it its path. It's a little strangely lit as it is. But one can make it work by continuing the lighting into other adjacent areas while still keeping it centered on her heart for the thematic emphasis.

Nice ambitious pic. Interesting how you are using saturated colors in the tablecloth. I can see your Pino influenced thinking, but you might want to consider distributing your accents in a little more varied placement and amount. I don't know the source pic, nor how well it worked, but I'm basing my comments on what I see.

Keep biting off these great ideas and you will have a tremendous range working for you. It's not like driving. Not so linear. Stuff with suddenly work one moment and there ya go. If you paint it, it will come. . . or some Field of Dreams saying like that.

    GO PAT GO!!!!!!!

Thankyou all for your kind comments, always appreciate your time
DAkey, thankyou again, after looking at it again, I see what you mean, the shadows should have been much softer and blended out more, will keep that in mind for the next one
