    Beautiful!

    Great technique. These magnolias really smell good when in bloom like this. If the perfume industry makes a perfume that smells as good it would cost a fortune.

    Katie, these are beautiful, love the magolias, ours are in bloom and I take one off the tree and bring it in the house and wow what a smell all through the house, also do the same with my gardenias, always hate to see them go

    The most memorable image of a magnolia blossom was from my tree house that I would rope my dachshund in a backpack up into. As I mentioned some time back, that tree house gave way one day and my dog and I slid all the way down. The tree was most kind to me and I shall always remember the blossoms as a sign of nature's harmony with a monkey with his mutt.

    As I recall these delicate petals bruised very easily. But here they have nobody trouncing all over them.

    I love the cups of the petals overlapping counterpointed by the vertical green curves. Nice design.

    Got one in the conservatory in flower. Shame the flowers don't last longer would it survive in the

    Garden in our. Sunny clime. SLAINTE Statte. BBone Si. Si.
