    old work, thought I'd show

    old piece.
this is my first painting, completed mostly in Artrage 1 and touched up in the free version of 2.0. roughed in pencil, painted with the oil brush
although I am now working on more with the full version, being able to use layers to work cleaner and in more detail.

Very nice! I like the way you've done the lighting and the strokes for the feathers.

Oooh, nice! That lighting highlighting the feathers is great.

Is there a story behind this scene?

    Beautiful

    Strange but wonderful.
    The feathers are so soft.
I love using a black canvas too, it gives such impact. Right up to the moment when you try a print and can almost hear the ink flowing out of the cartridge!

Cool. I want to know more of the story behind this too.

I especially love the eye and beak. Very dramatic.
