    Not in Kansas

    Sorry that I haven't been around much lately but try to keep up when I can.
    Here is a strange little Panting that started life as the scanned image as shown, done on Newsprint. A sideways scan.
    I didn't want to go outside to sharpen my graphite pencil and so I remembered you could tone your paper with graphite and add with pencil or subtract with eraser. This I did by sharpening right over the paper and found that an image could be manipulated quite easy. I then did a few more and got to like the effect. Brought this into ArtRage and taken a step farther. This is the 1st one I did. I hope you like......

    Neal.. I really like the outcome of this the graphite tonality and the subtle colors make a nice art piece.... haven't seen much from you but summer is upon us and people get busy... hope we see more soon
