    i really like this!!! the atmosphere is calm but wild at the other side,the colors are very beautiful.does remind me at Clint Eastwood movies

    Very well done Pat...I like this painting even though it is not your normal genre...it is good to expand one's boundaries :-)
    Try to see as many angles of vision as possible...no single one of us has a "handle" on the whole picture.

    Nice to see he gave up smoking!

    Great ride in from the sunset instead of riding into it. Says to me there will be a cheery crackling fire and some grub. Idyllic if one has ever done it. Always wanted to take a horse on the trail just for the experience of it. Did it on foot though and it totally decompressed me from the city life. Marvelous depiction.

    Nice use of lighting. Colors are quite calming.

    But who was that masked painter. . . we forgot to thank her. . .

    Well Pat you are certainly excelling yourself these days.
    Love the silhouette effect on the rider against the setting sun, so well thought out.
