    Lilac Season

Having lived in Rochester ,N Y for many years before heading south I learned to really appreciate the lilacs. In May they have the lilac festival. Hope you enjoy the painting.

Simply lovely, it jogged a memory in me that I had of my childhood days. Thanks for the memories.

A lovely painting of a very fragrant time of year.
Time to take a trip along the Niagara Parkway to stop at the large lilac gardens where they have so many varieties.

    Thank you

I am glad that others have good memories of lilacs. My good times include Canada. The falls, Toronto ,Quebec, the Redoux canal area are all so lovely.

You did a fine job on these lilacs. Very pretty. We have a Lilac parade here and a 7k race called Bloomsday which occurs around first bloom of the Lilacs.

    Thank you

Some of the most beautiful lilacs I have ever seen were in Denmark. We are a little too far south for lilacs now. There are however wonderful magnolias and crepe myrtles and other spring blooming trees.
