    The Great Teacup Conspiracy

This piece is 99% done with the pastel tool. even the thinnest lines are pastel
Everything was blended with a wet knife.

I hit the eyes with a little airbrush.

There were a couple of ideas i had for the teacup, but nothing stuck.
Then i saw an old friend hiding underneath the layers and i thought, yeah that idea will definitely stick.

The piece was already taking on a symetrical balance, but i thought the sky was too empty.
So i dropped in the moon, because cats are more mischevious at night, LOL

    Enjoy and many thanks

    Mike

I love this Mike. Charming and creative.
I have a cat-one of five now that we named Quill.
    This reminds me of him.

Apparently an unconventional illustration for Alice in Wonderland. Delightful one!
