Nice... but something about how the bamboos are arranged/painted make the bamboos look like bony fingers. Oh, I think it would be neat if you had made the bamboos like claws threatening the boat in the background... but then this wouldn't be a peaceful/calm image you probably envisioned. I don't like the branches coming out of the bamboo trunks are very light in color (transparent?).

Overall, I like it.

Dried rice, Thank you. This is a style that is known as Chinese Brush Strokes. You might want to look into this artist. I am just learning and following instructions as to the style. I appreciate your kind comment and opinion.

Cesare....this is so strange...I was going to import my old panda painting and weaken the opacity setting, but changed my mind and tried to paint different parts of the images that she had done in the book.
