    Flowers & Fruit, Plate

    This was a weekend exercise at WetCanvas. I liked the elements, but saw a way to make it more interesting. I am including the source ref. Appx 2400x2000pxl at 200 ppi. Oils.

    Nice Skylar, I like the background, and the shine and pattern on the old plate are amazing details. I like the mottled pears they look luscious. very detailed work..

    I agree. The rearranging the scene did definitely the trick. As always nicely painted. The only concern about it would be the wire construction under the plate, which is due to the scene logic there. Although, I wouldn't be able to recognize it properly, if you didn't post the reference image with.

    I like it. The floral design on the plate came out very nice.
