    Pat this is really amazing dear mate!... you aren't a bit rusty having been away for a few weeks.. Really the color control and brushworks in this painting are without doubt your finest todate IMHO.. outstanding! especially nice is the rich reds and the super whites... they are not easy and a misplaced tone will destroy the form and jar the eyes... this is totally pleasing to look at !.

    Nicely! However it was painted with heavy colors and tones, it appears still airy light, as flowers use to do...
