    Media Interaction question...

So, after a long hiatus, I fired up CS4 to goof off a little. While I love how AR3 behaves like real, traditional media, sometimes I want media to interact only when I need it to. With the various wet media, there are insta-dry settings, but not necessarily with all media. I'm still fairly new to AR3, so I was wondering if there is some setting I can check to make it so I can use these media in an almost photoshop fashion, where they don't interact until specified ( markers come to mind). Any thoughts? Thanks

Try turning your wetness setting on your marker down to 0%. This should stop any bleed of a colour you are applying into colour already laid down.
Failing that, you could try using layers to keep markers from interacting with each other.
