    Nice. May want to try some highlights to see if it suits you. Right now it looks like an iris and pupil. Are we going in or coming out?

    Just working on the Iris and Pupil for right now. Going to try the rest of the eye this weekend as well as a few other things.

    I see it and it's really impressive. I'm still convinced that the white background doesn't emphasize Your work as it would deserve ...

    This a solution, sort of tone on tone and I think it makes us me appreciate more the eye because I don't have all that white (thus colorless) light around. You may also try with a darker background in a toned down complementary color than the eye. With Your permission would attach here an example I quickly made on one of my customary backgrounds ...
    I also added a couple of light spots from the left (without trimming their colors actually).

    Nicely done. As a novice with graphic art I know I have a lot to learn. I like the way the highlite to the left ties the iris and pupil togather more.
