    I like the thinner/translucent shapes/color finely outlined in dark ink. e.g top-right.

    great colors, contrast, textures... very pretty piece. It is like a spring flower blooming and regeneration in my mind. Beautiful abstract.

    ... really virtuoso display of line, color, base and overlay ... the bright central image made me think of ancient creation myths of the primal universe as an egg cracking open, one part forming Heaven (yang, light) and the other Earth (yin, darkness) ...

    Albert...high praise from you!.. greatly appreciated..I had done more to this work ( on additional layers ) and had obscured this base... then I thought that this could stand alone and I should just put it up.. and stop messing with it...glad I did.

    chinapete - yes this has that creation myth aspect with the bright central shape that appears to be opening. and the darker supporting shapes.

    Kate - so happy that I have a bunch of favorites with you!...
