    Gal on the beach

I have been catching a few minutes here and there to get this one done
    (kids on easter holidays)
    Hope you like it.
I will try to check in properly later when I get Five minutes

Ah, what a great self-portrait dear Amanda!

A truly splendid job. Great work on the details and shadings.

I would add that this should be viewed at full size to truly appreciate the great work done here!

Cool. The towel or blanket she is on fans out and reminds me in a subtle way of a mermaid's tail. As the waves roll in and roll out, it becomes a now ya see it, now ya don't sort of thing. Wasn't it Daryl Hannah in Splash who would get her tail back when she was wet, and then when dry it was legs? Can't recall exactly since I never saw the whole movie. But I like that idea of the dual image, albeit only hinted at.

    Very pretty lady, I daresay.
