    chinapete..I am seeing more subtly utilizing the textural grains and impasto..love the subtle colors here..

    What I find mildly challenging is that the image as it appears on my iPad and the way it looks when I go to post it are radically different ... On my iPad, the vase and background (intentionally) are much darker, really everything should have been subordinated to the pinkish roses, but the same image when posted has too much light in the foreground ... So you are able to see things in the painting you shouldn't have been able to see, hehe ...
