    Boy Pat, that would make a great abstract as well. Those colors and your marks are very juicy. Nice composition to boot. I love how you handled the pots. The single stroke of the white one in the center shows a certain panache and mastery. Using the ridges of the paint as a way to show texture here is quite deft seeing as you reinforced the actual structure by it. Clever trick!

    Leaps and bounds. . . Making really good headway and one day it will all come together in one painting and you'll think, "Ah! This is easy. So why couldn't I do that before?"

    So much is falling into place already. Very nice. By your source picture selection you're showing what is important to you and thus it comes out in your own painting.
