    Oil and water ...

... notoriously don't mix, but to enhance the top-down view of a fish in water, the underpainting is oil on canvas, and the overlay is water-based color ... iPhone with ArtRage basic canvas, dry oil brush, chalk, watercolor and just water ...

    Hi E+,

I don't know about the layers, but if Brancusi had thought to fling one of his
"Bird" sculptings into a koi pond, he might have been inspired to paint as you
    do :-)

You know, the thread I was following in my mind was that "oil" and "water"
are artificial distinctions in the world of digital art, and that I didn't
have to limit myself to one or the other, and I found the idea liberating ...

I meant of course that you have similar powers of reduction, and thought the comparison a compliment :-)

So don't toss anything into the fishpond ... computers and water, notoriously, don't mix ...
