If you haven't ever read it, on Kenmo's site grab "Three Men In A Boat (To Say Nothing of the Dog)" by Jerome K Jerome. Been listening to the first 10 minutes, I can say this is VERY worth it.

I have been meaning to read this for a good long while, having found Jerome K Jerome to be eminently, and in reality, quotable.

As a tip off, it's total fluff, written in a wry and hilarious narrative voice. A real hit in his own time. The reader does it well, which makes this link a happy find.

The link to the audio book:

    THANKS KENMO!!!!!!!!

Edit: It sounds like they change readers from chapter to chapter. Probably they do that for all the books, do they?

Thanks Ken, I've seen that there are some title also in italian.
    It's good.

@D.Akey, I agree with you about Three Men In A Boat (To Say Nothing of the Dog) is very funny with a English humor absolutely irresistible. I read it several times and although this many pages can still make me laugh.

Thanks for the link, most useful

Here's another public domain (free) site worth looking at: http://librivox.org/

I've recently listened to Wind in the Willows by Kenneth Grahame, wonderfully brought to life by Adrian Praetzellis:
