    Stalking the Menace

Just another abstract and the question remains: Which is the menace? The looker or the looked upon?

Neal.. the sharp angular strokes the reds and blacks add a ominous mood here I like the flash of light in the center... well done

I love these colors and marks. As an abstract it's also very hot, even though it's practically expressionistic and maybe even sci-fi or bio-fantasy. Exceptionally good taste for a menace's lair.

    jibes,
Could this be something stalking from within or an entity
attempting to be released from it's confinement? The deep,
sultry colors and brush strokes elude a feeling of intense
fervour. This could also be an expression of one of our human
emotions that we tend not to extend an open invitation to
but honestly .... I like to get scared every once in awhile ....
    keeps the blood flowing.

    Strangely alluring and well painted!

Just don't spray it with water....it will ruin it!
I hope you can forgive the silliness Neal... it has been a long day.
I like this very much. So much comes to my mind when I view this beautiful piece.

I am liking the geometric play in here. great to see you having a go at abstracts and well done at that. reminded me of some I admired on Flickr recently that involved geometric shapes also. love the work of this artist and this is getting very close. so it's a real compliment.
her name is Helen Goldberg and she is using artrage on lpad for abstracts as well. I think you would enjoy seeing her work and abstracts very much.
    her work here.
