Well done again and once more what an incisive style!
I appreciated the detail of the coins on the closed eyelids, a tradition already present in ancint history, aimed at paying the fare of the souls ferryman. Seen from afar, the coins seem like two open eyes turned on the sky and invoking mercy.
    Panta rei (everything flows)!

    Vladislav, this is excellent work!!!

Such highly original and extremely powerful painting - you are very talented and I marvel at how you have managed to depict a subject so somber and sad and yet there is no sentimental pitying just insightful observation and genuine raw emotion.

I also admire your tight painting style which conveys a feeling of breathlesness in an agonizing moment in time.

This is in my opinion one of the best paintings I've seen in a long time!
May the force be with you

    Nice to hear.
I had a cat, died in May. 17 years, lived together. And I thought that it is not always the case that the owners are going through their animals. It happens, and vice versa. ¶
