    abstract head a'la Paul Klee my version of Contemplation..although I think his was named Meditation .

    thanks Neal.. glad you like the colors.. It was an exercise using gradient layering on many layers to build up a more subtle dimension... sort of what a Mark Rothko did in some of his work...

    I am liking your palettes that employ this kind of transparency quality. Very sophisticated, and dynamic. It works great with your hard edged endeavors keeping it from being flat and matter of fact. It feels contemporary in how you're utilizing available tools that they didn't have last mid-century. The design is rockin'.

    Beautiful, Gary. Your palette is always out of this earth...one can look for a long time and ...hm... meditate... contemplate... whatever one chooses to. Really awesome.

    D Akey... thanks - the subtle colors in this are directly related to build up of several transparent gradients something not available in prior decades.. really add a new and spectacular dimension to current works...
