    Cherries baby, yeah!

Sorry for the strange title. I wanted to do something red for the new year and cherries are on the top of my 'oh so yummy' list. The candied maraschino cherries that is. Painted in AR Studio 3.5

J Witt... nice painting I like the fact that you pushed it to almost an abstract level but nice colors and composition for a simple still life... uniquely done!..

Thank you guys. Yup, it is a pretty simple painting but I was looking to try and get that simple "everyday painter" look.

Thank you folks I think in the future I will remember to load a smaller image. Looking at the painting this big take away from the simple look I wanted.

  8. Oh, I think you still nailed the simple look - it's almost abstract and very graphic, but you can still clearly tell what the subject matter is - I think it's fantastic
