I'm most admired by how You get the most appropriate shaded area grey tones and colors against the brilliant light sources as well as versus the darkest shadowed areas. Here almost everything's in the middletones area, but the veiled sun, and it's particularly challenging to get such a good result in my opinion. Very good!

That is so cute and very nicely done, love the wide tonal range that you have captured.

    Simply Stellar!

One of my favorites on this forum. a real eye catcher,
(I particularly like the addition of that darker area showing through the clouds at left, this adds strong authenticity to the overall lighting, and somehow strengthens the entire painting)

yes please tell us about how you created the sun
was this a layer transparency thing?

I really like this painting jackstar51
